Welcome to the home of Breathe Easy Duct Cleaning and Crawl Space Encapsulation! I started this company because I am passionate about about the importance of indoor air quality for good health, and wanted to provide people with the peace of mind and ease of breathing that goes with it. 
This journey began when my wife and I moved into an old farmhouse. We tore down much of the inside and remade it be as cozy and comfortable as we could. Life was good.
After a while though, I realized that I was always stuffed up and wheezing and generally not feeling that great. After poking around, I found that our ductwork was NASTY. Mice seemed to have been in there at some point. There was mold in the air handler. Dust upon dust upon dust.
SO! We got the ducts cleaned. This helped a LOT. I was breathing much easier.
Eventually though, my symptoms returned. Then I discovered that our crawl space was a serious issue. Our house is in a low-lying area near a creek, on what is probably classified as a type of wetland. In spite of several previous efforts to divert rainwater from the house, during heavy rains water would pool down there, and MOLD was growing on much of the woodwork down there.
After doing much research, I realized that this crawlspace needed the full treatment: Total cleaning and mold treatment of the wood, French Drain trench, Sump pump, complete encapsulation with 20 mil plastic, plus air sealing all gaps with spray foam and a crawl space dehumidifier. So I did all of that. Now it is actually DRY down there even when my yard looks more like a pond (complete with crawfish chimneys).
After another duct cleaning (which I did myself, with my brand new Rotobrush duct cleaning machine!) my personal quality of life is vastly improved and my young daughters are far less snot-laden! After doing this work for family and friends, I decided to quit my job as a Biologist to take these lessons I learned and help as many people as I can. The effects of poor indoor air quality can be debilitating, and I love solving these problems for people.
