Air Duct Cleaning

Affordable and effective way to help you Breathe Easier in your home

Allow our before and after pictures above to show you the dirty truth that we will root out of your ducts!

Why might your house need the ducts cleaned? Indoor Air Quality is a major cause of allergies, asthma, and other respiratory issues and any of the following conditions may mean that your ducts are full of dust and allergens:

-Pets living/lived in the house

-Inadequate or total lack of filtration on system at any time

-The system will often have gaps or holes, allowing contamination

-Construction or renovation dust/ debris

-Moisture issues at any time may have allowed mold to grow in the ducts, which can regrow and release spores whenever conditions are favorable

What We Do for Your home:

We will inspect your system for any leaks or holes or obvious problems (and fix any that we can)

We use a powerful HEPA-filtered Rotobrush machine, which utilizes a two-way spinning brush head on the end of the hose that will clean every inch of your duct system

We will clean each air register and supply line, the return lines and trunk lines.

We will fog the system with an EPA-registered bacteriostat, fungistat and deodorizer to sanitize the now-clean surfaces.

We will take extra care to leave your house cleaner than it was before!

Indoor Air Quality and Your Ducts

You spend at LEAST all of your sleeping hours in your home, and probably many more as well. If the air quality in your home is not good, you could be suffering from symptoms that negatively affect your overall health and happiness.

If dust seems to accumulate quickly in your home, if normal vacuuming and dusting do not alleviate your symptoms, the problem may be hiding in the ducts.

Some people may say that the dust in your ducts is stuck there and so does not affect the air quality of your home, BUT a scientific study found that "in-duct resuspension of particles could lead to significant increase in exposure to airborne particles for indoor occupants"(1). While a second study showed that "Particle counts at 1.0 micron size were reduced due to HVAC duct cleaning." and "bioaerosol concentrations, taken two days after cleaning, were found to be lower than the pre-level concentrations" (2). In addition to the direct harm caused by dust particulates, dust and dirt in the ducts provides a substrate for other unwelcome guests: dust mites and mold, two of the most common indoor allergens. (3)

So we see that dust in your ducts does get into your air, and thence, into your lungs, and that having your ducts cleaned does in fact reduce the amount of particulates in the air you are breathing! Sounds like a good idea to me. And seriously, just look at those pictures. If you wouldn't want it to look like this behind your fridge, it probably shouldn't look like this in the ducts that supply the air you breathe while you sleep.
